When we went to school, we learned about European history, we learned about Alexander the Great and various empires. However, when it was time to talk about us, the children of the transatlantic slave trade; there was always that one page in the history books showing an African woman, most of the time with her breast hanging openly down to her waist. This was the part according to the education system. This was the contribution of children of the slave trade leaving in the United States.
Clearly part of the story is missing, have you ever wondered what so called “African Americans” were doing prior to slavery? Now I could tell you all the great things our people were doing and who we are, but for me, being told who we are, was not enough. When I first learned who we were, I was like no way, can’t be. So I decided to research the matter and found the truth and as the King said.
John 8:32
